This paper presents the results of research on the Sphaeriidae of the Dutch rivers ‘Lek’ and ‘Waal’ All known Dutch species of Sphaerium were found, as well as 10 species of Pisidium. Species and varietys are discussed. Remarks are given on occurrence, numbers and specifics (inversodontion and pseudo-inversion) of certain species.
