In the middle of November 1996, Dr. H. Schütt published a second edition of his book on Turkish landsnails. Since this book contains obvious plagiarisms as well as violations with respect to the copyright, the ’Arbeitsgruppe Türkische Binnenmollusken’ (ATB) have decided to inform the scientific community with regard to the actions of Dr. Schütt.
