Oxychilus alliarius is expanding its area in the southeast of the Netherlands. It was first recorded in the province of Limburg in 1978, but is now found in a dozen localities, several of which were investigated between 1964 and 1978. Until now it has mainly been found in oak scrub and forests, and not yet near human settlements.
