First record of Boettgerilla pallens in Ankeveen (community Wijde Meren, Noord-Holland, the Netherlands) in 2000. This pestsnail caused severe damage in 2001 to potatoes in the author’s garden by making a tiny hole in the skin of the potato and then eating it from the inside.
