Corrections to the publication ‘Systematics and palaeobiogeography of the gastropods of the middle Miocene (Serravallian) Karaman Basin, Turkey’ by the same authors in Cainozoic Research 11-13 (2013) are noted. The specific name Polygona vermeiji, introduced in this publication, is a secondary homonym of Latirus vermeiji Petuch, 1986, therefore the replacement name Polygona geeratvermeiji nov. nom. is proposed.
