On specimens of Callitriche platycarpa recorded in the province of Drenthe by J.J. Barkman (nr. 6083, WAG) abnormal fruits have been discovered. The author describes briefly some of the most striking examples. It is the first time that abnormal fruitforms in the genus Callitriche are observed.
